El Limón is a 40-meter waterfall reached through the countryside near El Limón village, either on horseback or hiking. It's the most popular half-day excursion from Las Terrenas and a good starting point if this is your first tour in Samaná. At the base, a natural freshwater pool is open for swimming beneath the falls — bring a swimsuit and water shoes.
